You are 64 years old, you should have a lifetime of experience that you can put into a job. Make a list of everything that you like to do. Make a list of things that you know how to do, regardless of how unimportant you think these are. After you get the two lists take a good look at them and you will probably see a pattern standing out.

Even with zero training, you should be able to get a job as a greeter at a store or a hostess as a restaurant. All these jobs require is to be able to handle people in a tactful manner.

Fill out lots of applications, I know that many retailers will hire folks w/ little or no exp, as long as you have a good personality and pass their entry tests, but be prepared for some lousy hours and even worse pay...
