Maybe your resume wasn't targeted, which means not written for the specific jobs you were applying for. Also you need to include cover letters and send to the companies who are actually looking for people with your skills.

Wow, 200 resumes in 2 months? That's over 3 a day! Are you just sending out the same resume over and over? Or are you actually taking the time to see if you're actually qualified for the job you're applying for? Do you customize your job duties in each resume to relate to the position? Do you add a cover letter that includes the company name you're applying to? Are you using spell check?
If you send out that many in a 2-month time period, then you need to depend on QUALITY, not quantity. If a recruiter or hiring manager notices that you're not giving any effort into your job search, then he or she isn't going to put any effort into hiring you.

Be sure it's not your resume, have some people look it over.
Keep in mind - there's a lot of competition out there. I applied for over 200 jobs this year, while working a full time job, got some interviews, turned down some jobs. Keep trying. Try temping if you really need immediate placement.

cover letter
evaluate your resume
--concise? functional? neatness? typographical errors? professionalism? readibility? skills cited related to position? objective: too broad/narrow?
follow-up...don't just wait for a call. be assertive and call within a a week or two
Resume is a 'snapshot' of you.
Companies receive hundreds of resumes, the first glance through a stack usu. results in your resume being placed in one or two stacks: "File 13 (trash)" and "Further Consideration"
From then it may be reduced even more...a phone call help keep your resume from being buried from other incoming resumes (keeps it near the top)
Hopes this helps.

Make sure you go over and also have someone else go over your resume for any mistakes. I know at our company if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes they automatically "dismiss" that person. Good luck.
