Hi, American Express cancelled my account with them because of information found on my credit report, (delinquencies).

I ordered a copy of my credit report from all 3 bureaus, and I did not find any kind of delinquency on my report at all. All my accounts are being paid on time and I have no collections.

I called AMEX to find out what is going on and to tell them that there are no delinquency at all in my credit report and that I have always paid my Amex on time, and spoke with a rude representative and she told me that was nothing she could do about and I’ll have to re apply in order to have an account with them.

Does anyone know if this is correct, and if AMEX can do this kind of thing with their clients? And if there are any law that protect me .

I am about to give in notice to my employers. I don't have another job lined up or anything, I just want to leave. I want to say to them that I'll work out the month but I'm only required to give a weeks notice. Can they demand I leave after the week? Please let me know what you think.

I mean if the buyer is wanting whatever it is then why wouldn't someone accept cash on delivery.
If they refuse that wouldn't that show that they are not legit?

I have had my items in a unit when I whent to empty it out I discovered water had damaged my pictures. Althoug I did not have my own insurance I feel that the damage was due to there leeking roof. Do you think they should be resonsible.

a home i used to live is going to be shortsale. my realtor said the 1st lender verbally told him that they won't be 1099 on me for the difference. there are 2nd loan into this home and i'm afraid the 2nd loan might do.

Will I be taxed eventually...?

Since other home is to be foreclosed (rental property in Maryland), I am seriously considering to spend about $2000 for bankruptcy lawyer.

Advice please! My fear is the 1099c consequences...

I have an 1889 Morgan Dollar with no marking at all above the D and the O in dollar, I think that means it came from the mint in Philly, but I just cannot seem to find an average value on the coin. I see one coin worth 17000 dollars and another worth 10... PLEASE HELP ME!

Ok so I bought my house this year in may, I put 13,000 down on loan. I had just taken out a loan to pay off all my credit cards and it has a high rate 23apr. I seen rates are real low for home equity at my bank. my question is.....even though I've only had my house 6 months can I get a home equity loan? also My loan has a prepayment penalty the first 3 years "lower the longer" , so would I still even be able to get a home equity loan? also would this be in my best interest to even do this?

I'm moving by the end of this month. I spoke with my landlord and He said He wants to show the Apartment to some people while I'm here. I said it's OK but it has to be from Friday to Sunday anytime because I work from 8 to 5pm, then go to School Mon to Thurs. This guy is giving me attitute and a hard time because He wants it to be when ever He wants! Is this right? I'm not going to miss class because of him! NO WAY! I Am I right?
