What do you think of people who want to have the area numbed (besides for permanent cosmetics)?

why do so many people get them when it has nothing to do with them, they just think it looks cool. I think its stupid that people say they are being 'unique' by putting that on them when hundreds of people have them. Does anyone even have one that has to do with their family being in a tribe? You shouldn't be allowed to get one if you or your family weren't part of a tribe.

i'm looking for a profesionals opinion on whether or not it is safe to have a uv tattoo. i have read that it has in the last few years become as safe as any other ink but then hear that it is also a toxin. Also what is the avereage life of a uv tattoo? thanks

For example Ray Bradbury's The Illustrated Man.....Books have come up several times in online dicussions and messages left in the group message box so I know a lot of you read. I can think of two or three fictional characters that have tattoos that play a role in the stories (and I'll add them in a later comment). I'm just hoping to find something tattoo related that I HAVEN'T read.

I've been taking 10mg of Propranolol 2/3 times a day since October for social anxiety, and I'm thinking of having another tattoo next week. I've already had 3 (before I was on the medication) and I was just wondering, are there any health risks that come with having a tattoo while taking beta blockers? Thanks :)

I am looking for a any suggestions on a "soft" tattoo. Kind of like a in memory of my mother type. I have several ideas, in my head, but, they are not unique. I want it to be personable and from the heart, therefore I want it to be with a butterfly, fairy or angel and flowers, which are something my mother loved. She was a devoted gardener, and loved the others I listed. Now my problem is, I can't figure out how to put the three together, that will be unique with putting her name in that design as well. I looked at several websites for any tattoo design help, but found nothing I really liked. Since I have a few tattoo's already, the only place that would be enough room for a detailed tattoo is my shoulder blade or my outer thigh. So anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I got my tattoo last Saturday...it started to peel on Wednesday and the flaky stuff is gone...Why does it look so faded? I didn't pick on it, i just loosened up the flakes by gently washing it with warm water and rinising with cold water. Should I go and get it touched up?

I was thinking of having it done for prom- henna tatoos stain the skin a reddish brown color and last for 2 weeks before fading....If I cant find a henna artist, should I just go to any tatoo artist and/or bring the supplies? How much can I expect to spend?

someone told me that youd be able to just use cocoa butter to clean the tattoos but if you just use cocoa butter would you have to clean it with the anti bacterial soap too? i just got the tattoo 2 days ago...thanks in advance!!

I want my kids included on my tatoo, my one and only idea is a shooting star with a few other stars tagging behind it. Inside the stars will be my kids' names from oldest to youngest and written around the tatoo would be a line from bad company "don't you know that you are a shooting star?" How do I go about designing this ir finding someone to do it for me? Just go into the parlor and give them my idea? Where should I get it? (I plan on it just being in black ink) I've never had a tattoo before and am afraid that if I get it in a skinny spot it'll hurt to bad.
