I am looking for a any suggestions on a "soft" tattoo. Kind of like a in memory of my mother type. I have several ideas, in my head, but, they are not unique. I want it to be personable and from the heart, therefore I want it to be with a butterfly, fairy or angel and flowers, which are something my mother loved. She was a devoted gardener, and loved the others I listed. Now my problem is, I can't figure out how to put the three together, that will be unique with putting her name in that design as well. I looked at several websites for any tattoo design help, but found nothing I really liked. Since I have a few tattoo's already, the only place that would be enough room for a detailed tattoo is my shoulder blade or my outer thigh. So anyone have any ideas? Thanks

How about:
The profile of a Fairy with butterfly wings & a halo, sitting on the edge of a tombstone, sadly looking down at the flower in its hands.

The tombstone would have your mother's first name, followed by the phrase "Loving Mother", then under that: the year she was born - the year she passed away.

Explain it to the Tattoo artist & he can draw up some ideas to illustrate it. Together you both can fine-tune it until it looks right to you.

I hope this helps you out a bit.

My condolences for the loss of your mother.

How about a beautiful fairy or angel holding a flower that has a butterfly on it with a serene look on her face. You can put your mother's name somewhere there. Or you could have a fairy/angel with a flower in one hand a butterly in the palm of her other hand. I don't know, these are just some ideas. I think either of those would be a cool tattoo. Hope you find what you're looking for. =) See the links below for some ideas. You might have to scroll down a bit to get to the pictures. The second one has a fairy sculpture holding a flower that is beautiful, add a butterfly to the scene and you have what you are looking for.

Hmmm? Maybe have a garden scape with a fairy sitting on a sunflower (or other) a butterfly in the sky and an angel watering the flowers. you could have the flowers twist into her name. It's just an off the top ofmy head idea, but that's how I would work all those things into it.

If it was me, I like to be simple. I would just get a flower for her. One small flower that means allot to me, but wouldn't have to be large or too in depth. Because no matter how hard i would try, I coluld never make a picture that explains why I love her.

I think It would be awsome if you find somthing you like that will work out for you. Maybe you should ask other people who knew her what sort of things they think of when they see her- then go to a tattoo artest and tell them everything and just se what sort of art they come up with!

why don't you go to a good tattoo shop and tell them what you want in the tattoo and maybe they can draw something up for you.

im going to have to agree with the going to the shop idea. just tell them the elements you want in it, and they can draw up a custom creation for you.
