im looking to get a tattoo representing my favorite movie in the whole world, the nightmare before christmas. yes, i know there are a billion people with jack's face, but that is not what i am looking for.

my favorite characters are, of course, jack and sally, lock shock and barrel, and the mayor.

i would draw it myself, but i can't think at all of how i want it to look. don't you hate when that happens?

any ideas? or artists that would be awesome enough to help a chica out? (if you're in the gainesville FL area, that would be more awesome)

I plan on getting a tattoo soon (on my forearm, I think) but I'm having trouble deciding what to get. I've already decided not to get any tats of characters from movies, books, etc and I've thrown out the idea of Chinese letters. I think I'm going to try to go for something that describes me, but at this point I'm at a loss for what that would be.

I'm going to continue thinking about what tat would suit me. While I'm at it, can anyone help me out some suggestions on how to figure this out? To all you tattoed guys and girls out there, how did you decide would tat to get?

I want to gauge my ears..but im going to go one size at a time. How do i go from 18/20 to 16/18? It seems like it would be hard to fit the stretcher into an 18/20 size hole. Also, how long after i got my ears pierced would i need to wait, and how long inbetween sizes?

on my forearm on the inside that takes up the whole part from the wrist to the bend in your arm. i want one there because i was a cutter when i was younger and i want something to cover the scars. thanks Pics would be nice

Hi, I think, the girl with the tatoos was very well spoken,intelligent and pretty. I think, the tattoos kept her from going further, and I hope she gets work from her exposure, she's very pretty.

OK...this is very bizarre. About a week ago, my g/f came home with this tattoo on her right butt cheek...A picture of Edgar Allan Poe...with the word "Nevermore" written under it- in some kind of weird Gothic font. It has really freaked me out when it comes to our "love life". I just can't seem to perform because I keep seeing it, and thinking about it. She just laughs and says "doth quote the raven". Any advice?

I love my tattoos...and I want to share them.
This is why I post them to websites like rankmytattoo.com and ratemyink.com

I thought long and hard about my idea..its not something you see on lots of other people. I hate it when people say things like...oh I love that, I wanted a tattoo but didnt know what...I want to get that. Then they ask me whose my artist. I want to send business to my artist cause he rocks...But I dont want people walking around with my tattoo on them...I know my artist would change it, so it wouldnt be exactly the same. But still this is my idea.

Is that wrong? What should I say to someone who says they want my tattoo? - when I see comments like this "I absolutely LOVE this!!!! I want to add to the butterfly already on my lower back, and this would be a great idea. GORGEOUS!!!" on my ratemyink.com page...it makes me cringe...I mean, I want to thank them for the compliment...but tell them to come up with their own idea...is this wrong?
