i have never heard of being turned down for veins. i have both of my feet tattooed and they are ridiculously veiny (i don't even know if that's a word!!!)
i don't really think you can tell from the pictures of my tattoos but trust me... they are super duper veiny. i would think you'll be fine.

Ok for starters an artist won't say " sorry i cant tattoo you, you have a professional job" they dont care if your a lawyer or your a bartender..
Now for the vein question, i would just go and talk to a tattoo artist if your veins are too close to the skin i guess they would know the best and tell you that its not such a great idea.
I have both wrists tattoo'd and you can see the veins pretty clearly in my right one and my tattoo is healing just fine.
It will hurt a lil more then other places since the skin is so thin there.

they won't turn you down unless they just really don't like your tattoo. veins wouldn't effect it because the ink doesn't go very deep. if they don't like your tattoo idea, I would listen to them because they know what will look good if they are good, custom tattoo artists, and they can sketch you up some other ideas.

as long as your hand is flat or upright, your veins won't buldge. if it is in a downwars position, gravity causes them to fill with blood. i have never heard of anyone being turned for a tattoo due to veins anyway.

My little 70 year old grandma and I went to go get wrist tattoos. If they did her I'm sure they will do you too.

it doesnt matter how 'bad' the veins show, ink doesnt go that far in during a tattoo the only reason they turn you down typically is because the wrist is a very public place and can affect your life-job wise

they would have to bulging out pretty badly for them not to be able to have on there, and that btw is disgusting, unless you have a love affair with sweet lady heroin, theres no reason why you cant have one on your wrist.

They would have to be where they were sticking way out on top of you skin for them not to do it.
