I would rather look at models with piercings and tattoo then most of the plain and drab ones that I see now. Being heavily tattooed can hold you back in mainstream modeling, but I can guarantee she'll find the right opportunity sooner or later.
Its just a stupid stigma and stereotype that will hold her back. Most people with tattoos and piercings are actually very open, accepting people who are well spoken, kind and intelligent...and even beautiful. We (myself and others with mods) just aren't given the best chances to prove it. I give her credit for trying because its not always easy to be the stand out person.

I saw ANTM last night and was sad to see the tatooed girl go. I think it is probably best not to have tatoos as a model.
Agents and clients know it will take more work to conceal them w/ makeup or remove them with computer touch ups, adding to the cost of the photos.

i'm pretty sure that being heavily tattooed will definitely prohibit a high fashion modeling career. however there are plenty of opportunities to be a tattooed model if you are in the right place. there have been some models on there with tattoos but only one or two small ones.

I don't think her Tatts had anything to do with her being sent home. I think it was her attitude and she really didn't have "the look" or the qualities one would look for in a model...all the television viewer knows about the contestants is what they are shown on television. There is other "behind the scenes" stuff that, due to the privacy act and FCC regulations can not be aired on television/internet. Frankly I didn't find her to be that pretty...and my opinion has nothing to do with the tatts...

They must hinder the opportunities available for jobs, because have you noticed in past seasons that all the girls' tattoos were airbrushed out! Some designers may not like that look on the runway and those who use tattooed girls in print ads may have to spend more money to airbrush them out. These girls should remember that in modeling, their bodies are their calling cards, and tattoos could possibly hinder their opportunities.

First time I know tatoos make you smarter, most of times models do not have to say anything or demostrate how intellligent they are. If tatoo is not visible when you are modeling I think it will be fine.

Why in the heck would you want to copy another persons tattoo? Thats really not a good idea. Why not think of your own star or have a artist draw up something more unique for you.

i thought she should have gotten further too. i think the modeling field needs to open to a wider variety of people, bc not everyone is a 6 ft tall walking stick. its nice to see some tatted people and some fuller girls on there this season. but i'm sure a bag of bones will win anyway

yes, they should model but it also depends on how big the tattoo is though too.
