Heh, well I guess that begs the question, what do you consider cool? If everybody's doing it, does that make it more or less 'cool'? If you do it just to be cool, does that mean it's not cool?
I would say that as far as a trend goes, tattooing has almost peaked out, so in that sense it's just not as 'cool' anymore. But so many people get them for so many different reasons -- if it's a well done tattoo that's done because you really think that you look nice with it and/or it has some lasting meaning for you, it can still make a positive impression on many people.

Tattoos will always be there so it would matter if they are uncool. More and more people are getting everyday. There maybe some years that more people get them. Some people will find them to be uncool. Don't get a tattoo just because it's cool or in style. That will only lead to regret. So, to answer No. Tattoos are not uncool.

LOVE TATTOOS!I have a few,my fiance' has a few.About 90% of the people I know have them.(along with piercings)Tattoos will never become "old news" because they are a form of expression!Everyone wants to express themselves,one way or another.

tattoos may be "uncool" in some people's minds but for those of us who have tattoos are are committed to them it doesn't matter. just like people who are devoted to a religion, no matter how controversial or uncool it may be... we love our tattoos because they are ours and we most likely did not get them to be cool.

Tattoos are an expression of who you are and what you stand for. People don't get them to fit in or follow the crowd. I still don't understand why those people who are against them and don't have them keep coming in here and saying things about them. If you have no interest and don't have a proper question or answer then stay out. This is for people who love tattoos and want advice about them.

Most people don't get tattoos to "be cool". They get them to express their individuality-and that will never be "uncool".

Yes...When people with 'tats' get arrested.....the first thing the police do is take photos of their 'tats'.
The police will use these photos (they upload them into a national data base) to identify these people in the future.
Bottom line?
Don't get a 'tat' if you don't want the police knowing you!

I hope people thinking they are trendy is going out of style. I still love them and will continue to get them and all these people that get them for some dumb *** reason like fashion gives all of us a bad name
