I have been married for the past 1 year. A typical arranged marriage. But now my husband says he does not like me since I do not respect his family. But I am also from a joint family and respect his family. My mother in law keeps on complaining about my small mistakes to everyone and my husband believes her and has now totally stopped talking to me in such a stage where I am pregnant. I do not understand what kind of respect they expect. I am professionally educated and working in a reputed organisation. I have been bought up freely, independently and take my own decisions. But here I have to give my salary to mother in law, ask her before taking any decision. I am looking for a style of singing that is very "clear" singing
Some example are choir "solos" but without words and in the clarity of "Amy Lee".
The best example I can find is Gabriel Yared's Angel Falls. About 2:00 minutes into the song there is a "angelic" singing voice. What is THAT type of singing called?
(Obviously I want to know who sings like that too).

I have tried all kinds from the doctor and nearly all of them give me horredous side effects so I've had to stop the treatment. Also tried the gum and patches [both made me throw up!] Not sure if I can do it on will power alone. Please help!

Whats the best way to divide large numbers?

Basically this is my question:

A new car costs £13500. The dealer gives a discount of £1282.50. What is the percentage discount?

Now the formula to work this out would be:
13500/1282.50 x 100 = %

But im stuck on dividing it. I cannot use a calc for this question. Would i multiply the both numbers again by 100 to remove the decimal, convert them to a fraction and simplfy them, and work on the division using a smaller number?

In Dating, people know what they want and look for,BUT also, people get use to being "independent".It's hard to
break-into peoples independent bubble and get them to change. I'm not saying to change someone because it's a challenge or fun game,but to change a little for sake of a new relationship. Does anyone understand what I'm saying???

My ex-boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me a few months ago. I was very crashed over it. I asked him not contact me in order to move on but he has always contacting me, saying he finds it hard, he misses and loves me. He even came to see me twice as he missed me too much. But he said we cannot get together as the long-distance situation hasn't changed. Last time he contacted me, he told me he wants us to work things out but then he backed off again saying it's still not the right time for us. I was hurt again so I asked for no contact even though I really love him and want to be with him. Its hard really. But he eamiled me a week ago saying he can't help his feelings but he misses me, thinks of me and doesn't want me to think he doesn't want me anymore.I replied but I got upset when he said he is going abroad with his friends to celebrate New Year. He said he will leave me alone now as he can't take blames from me. I am so hurt. I love him. I am 30 yrs. Now his phone is off.

My parents started a good tradition a number of years ago after my father started his present job as president of one of the Cambridge colleges - they usually have an "open house" and invite any college members who are around on New Year's Day to have lunch with us. The fact that my parents are leaving for India tomorrow did not stop them from transferring this traditional New Year's Day lunch to yesterday - since they will be unable to have it tomorrow.

I'm probably gonna be a teacher. sometimes teachers do stuff they're not "qualified" for. for example, my math teacher taught drama, with the help of an english teacher. I'm going to teach business classes, but I'll be a black belt before I can teach. Will the high school I go to let me teach karate? Before you say it teaches kids to fight, yes it does. I won't argue. I know how to punch and where 2 kick. but it's been shown that people who do martial arts are less prone to violence (well, little small kids are the exception) I've gotten in fights in the past, but once I started karate, i haven't fought and walked away each time. but will the school let me teach a karate class? at the end of the semester they'll have a test, it'll cost $20 if they wanna go up to orange belt, otherwise it'll be free.
