Here's some advice: Don't get the Arcade, because you want to save games and other stuff from Xbox live. One demo is like 500MB. Get the Xbox 360 Pro with a 20GB HDD. Or you can get the Arcade and add on the HDD. If you add on a HDD it could be either $100, or $179 depending on how much memory you want.

I agree with Dan that you should spend the extra for the premium. The hard drive and wireless controller are worth it. But he's wrong about the online. You do not need a hard drive to play games online. Only if you want to download anything from xbox live.

Well the Xbox 360 Arcade I guess is a good deal...if your looking just to play the games and not bother with online, you need a hard drive for that and The arcade does not come with it. My advice to you is Get the Premium priced at about $350 in the US (not sure about Austrailian Money). It comes with the hard drive and is all set to take online.
