The other day i went into an AV shop to purchase the Onkyo 605. When i asked about it, the kind gentlemen showed me a Denon 2807 that was on offer for the same price.

Does anybody have any information about the Denon. Is it a better buy than the Onkyo?

Thanks in advance

This morning I got up early. I looked outside, it was dark and raining and was very quiet. I just thought that how important things are in life / for life, which we just take for granted. Then was wondering how would we react or what would be the motivations left or how meaningless the things would be for which we keep worrying / running all through our lives - if the things we take for granted are not there ?
Serious thinkers are welcome.... No funny stuff please.

Of course, we are the fairer sex, and society tells us we have to act waif-like and dainty. But let's face it; we are just like guys; but in secret. We never admit this, but effectively, we on YA are anonymous. Have you ever been secretly (or indeed publically) proud when:

* You did a really smelly fart (*sniffs it*, "vintage!")
* You found a really HUGE booger up your nose
* You picked a mega scab from your knee
* You did a wee that lasted as long as the lunar landing
* You did a really big pooh and it stayed in one piece at the bottom of the toilet (my personal favourite)
* You did a huge belching burp after downing a can of soda
* You drank a friend 'under the table'

Come on; you know you are...

Theres been a road accident and a man has been minorly hurt.

Who is the most genuine person.

1. The Christian who goes to help because he HAS to. As the bible dictates. And then proceeds to try to tell you about jesus and how Gods looking out for you.

2. The Atheist who feels human emotion and instinctively goes to help and doesn't expect anything in return.

In my view religious people (of all faiths) tend to do good stuff because religion tells them they HAVE to, not neccessarily because they WANT to.

What do you all think?

Is this normal? And if so--why? I've been married 16 years and just turned 40 a few months ago. I've always been satisfied with sex once a week (more in the early yrs of our marriage), but I want it ALL the time now and I'm going crazy! Hubby loves it and is able to do it on average once a day, sometimes twice (at least 12 hrs in between). But I'm still constantly horny and wanting more. I've never ever ever cheated, but am now fantasizing this and it scares me. On top of that a few weeks ago some guy called the wrong number looking for his wife (supposedly) and talked me into having phone sex. He calls maybe once a week, sometimes less, but this has just added to my already high sex drive and now I want to meet him--although scared he might be a freak. I am exercising more than ever because that tends to get rid of some of the sexual energy. But, like I said, is this normal? If so, why the heck is this happening and how long will it last?

I'm suspicious the age limits are there for people re-enlisting.

I'm 25 now (gonna be 26 in June '08) and thinking of joining the US Navy or the Coastguard (preferably the reserves) for the first time. Am I too old?

I just don't see any other way of paying for my college tuition. It took me over 4 years to get my associate degree from a community college while working and in the meantime I messed up my credit. I don't think anyone will give me a loan with a decent interest rate now so I just don't see any other option to finishing college other than the GI Bill. Please help!

Ok, heres' s the problem...
My girlfriend has a habit of flirting with random guys too much.
She does this alot...thats why her last relationship ended. But she tells me she would never cheat on me.

I like her alot...but im afraid that 'something' will happen one day. I dont want to end this relationship, I wanna fix the problem. What should I do?

Is she just looking for attention from me?(I give her alot, I think)

Should I do the same, to make her know how it feels?(i'd be afraid to do that, I dont want her to get angry and fool around)

Should I keep telling her to stop, and that it bothers me?(I don't want her to think im overprotective/peranoid)

Heres some details about us. She knows she has this problem. We've only been together for about a ~month. Im 19, she's 18. Please help...

Talk about jumping the gun, building habitats on the Moon for people to live in would be better because the technology to build habitats in a hostile alien environment like Mars would need to be tested first, so what do you think, go to Mars first or go to the Moon first?

I wrote this guy that I really like who likes me just as much...we have been talking a few months now and I text him saying " Hey, just thought I would text you... I am having crappy sleep tonight lol so i am bored trying to find things to do lol. You are really sweet to me :). Everytime I talk to you you are. I just want to kiss you!." and I felt comfortable saying that ..i mean he sends me emails with xoxo on them. And he wrote back when he got it and said "awww...You are too sweet!" I mean it was not a bad reply i think..i was just expecting something a little more gratifying since I put myself out there and said that...something like "I want to kiss you too". Is his reply bad? I dont know if that means he would like that or not..is it good? really good? how do you percieve it..ty! And btw, he has called me beautiful, pretty, and amazing before...

Im renting a home and the fire place may or may not be working. The Landlord says he cleaned the fireplace (swept up the ashes) However if I want to use it I am responsible for paying a chimney cleaning company because he has provided a new furnace.

I think that I am responsible for the continued use of the fireplace. It is in his best intrest to have a professional clean it before I move in. I have never used it so why should I have to pay for it. Who's right and what might the law say about this?

I turn 18 in 3 weeks and even though I live so far away from a rink I would love to take up ice skating. I plan on moving away from home early next year (2009!) and think that even at 19 years I could take it up and compete at an amatuer level. Thoughts?
