this isnt real, this merely isnt in case you extremely hate them , merely circulate away them on my own. getting revenge will merely injury extra Lexi: I actually have a job. 'somewhat short' strengthen into an exaggeration, i might merely like some extra and % to come back at my parents. My parents does no longer understand I wasn't appropriate, they weren't in any respect around to locate. I, although, understand they have been faraway from appropriate. the remark above, no parents are appropriate, and im giessing it is purely some overpriiviliged newborn bored or a sselfish spoiled brat, yet I even have acquaintances, whose lifes are so mucked up that it will influence them for there lives, and their parents are too depressed to help. ive in no way heard one in each and every of them communicate approximately sueing

While it may not be the best idea to sue for $20.00, a thief who steals reguarly will be arrested for theft sooner or later and will land in the slammer.

It's not the amount necessarily but, rather, the actions that will get you in trouble.

Attorneys are not interested in cases where their share of the collection isn't worth their time and effort. $20.00 does not get their attention. Small claims court filing fees are more than $20.00. It becomes, therefore, a matter of practicality. My bill collector, BIG BUBBA, would collect 20 bucks for me as a favor: his normal fee is a little more.

As for you comment regarding stealing stuff valued at $20.00 or less: don't even think about it; it's illegal. If you get caught, and charges are brought against you, you will have a criminal record, even if you pay restitution: it's the act the courts care about the most and restitution does not erase the act.

uh...going to jail and getting a felony rap are not the same as getting sued; and guess what? THE JUDGE will order you to make restitution....

YOu aren't on to anything here.

You might as well throw in mental stress and anguish to up it to $20

I think filing fees start at $35 anyway...

you may not be sued, but theft of one cent is considered theft. If someone wants to press charges, then you will be charged. And if you do it enough, then the charges are compounded.

You seem to have missed the point in your question. It is not the suing that is the bad part of your thought , it is the stealing that is the problem. If you go around stealing stuff that is valued less than 20 dollars. You will get caught by the police. You will go to jail. You will pay bail bond fees. You will pay attorney fees. You will pay restitution. You will lose your job. etc etc etc

Oh never mind it does sound like it would be financially viable give it a try.
