No,I seen it on The Sopranos.

The mother made her son a "Lincoln log sandwich".

It was a food item.

It was a sandwich made by Carmella on a Sopranos episode. Bread with hot dogs which are cut down the middle, lengthwise and filled with cream cheese .....

Doesn't sound like anything I would make, but others might like it.

My husband's family is Italian, and no one is familiar with this as a known "Italian" recipe; even if you substituted sausages for the hot dogs. Could just be something that the shows writers came up with, who knows?

Don't think I will be making it for dinner anytime soon.

Have a Happy New Year.
