Im going to Jamaica in a few days. I was wondering what the restrictions were as far as bringing shampoo, perfeume, hair product and that sort of thing. I was told that you can bring whatever you want in the suitcase that goes under the scanner and in the cargo hold; that there were only restrictions on what you could carry-on. is that true?

How can I help keep a kid quiet? I'm babysitting again tomorrow night and the kid shrieks a lot. I was babysitting him last night and he didn't scream but he did the previous time I babysat. He mainly shrieks when I step out of the room for a minute or two (to use the restroom) or even if I'm just there. If I'm sitting next to him he'll start screaming and shrieking. He's 7, he's not trying to tell me anything, he's just screeching for the joy of it. How can I save my ears from the wretched screaming?

I can start my car but it will not tick over, just dies, sometimes when i try to start the car everything dims like a flat batery and resets my clock and things, any idea please help.

He is only 4, a Pekingese. He went in for a surgery a few months ago and came out blind in one eye. Well the other night I let him in the back yard (fenced in) and went to get him about 20 min later and his eye had popped out, well was hanging out. They had to remove his eye so now he is completely blind! I am having the hardest time dealing with this... he is my baby and he is running into everything and acting totally different... he doesnt like some foods and he doesnt play much. He is on medicine right now but will he get better? How long does it usually take for a dog to adjust? I hear stories about blind dogs that are perfectly fine but its still hard.
Any advice would sure help! And thanks!!!

I've already gone to the nuerologist and chiropractor (who made it worse). I'm waiting the results of my MRI, but in the meantime I need something to get rid of the pain so I can actually study a little for my finals which have been postponed because I couldn't read the small print and I was not able to make it to the classes for the last week and a half of the semester. I can now read for a little bit at a time, but still not enough to get any kind of beneficial studying done.
What can I do or take to lessen the pain?

there and boasting it will be "their" home. after marriage they built toghether the seconf half of the house with their wedding money. but the house and land was written after his parents. now he doesnt want to give her rights on house. i tell her to leave him in case he doesnt trust her and doesnt consider her a wife but a donnow what. is this a real family based on cheating on and tricks? :(

I'm trying to figure out the best way to learn a foreign language. I think I might have a little bit of a talent for following different languages...but in order to become fluent I'm not sure what the best way is to learn. Right now I'm working on Dutch because one of my friends is fluent. I would like it if I could start learning on my own and be able to give him the whole "WOW factor" by learning on my own. Any suggestions?

I just moved, and have set up an appointment with a GYN doctor. I don't care much whether it's a guy or girl, but she happens to be a girl. My question is... What do GYN doc's really think when they're "down there"? My old ob/gyn only ever saw me because I was pregnant, and I didn't care what she thought then, but now.. I just worry about the silliest details. I guess... I don't know, I want to know if it makes their job easier if you shave/wax before a visit, what if I have a busy day and can't do a quick clean up job before I'm seen, will she judge, do you think? HELP! :(

Any thoughts, comments, funny stories... anything would help really, just let me know I'm not the only one who worries about this silly stuff :(

My husband, God love him, says I went way overboard on what I bought for the 2 children I nanny.

And all of this was bought for with my own $$, but my husband just thinks I did too much.

One of the kids is 2, so I got him a Magna Doodle, a pair of jeans, pair of sweats, 2 shirts, pair of boots, 2 coloring books & 2 reading books.

The other kid I nanny is 3 months old, I got him 2 outfits, a teether, box of blocks for when he's older, and a blanket.

Too much or not enough??

im really depressed because im not allowed to date and its led to me being very awkward around boys. my parents say i have to get when im older and they wont allow me to leave the house for uni.all they talk about is a husband, like if i drop a tray jokingly my dad goes ''you shouldnt do that for your husband''. its funny but its ruined my mentality. im in england and i know if i really did want to i could, its just that theyve controlled my life so much that if i get out id be pretty vulnerable and i cant make my own decisions. ive become really pesimistic and i have given up on love. i dont like the feeling. i feel worthless and i cant speak out in my house. ridiculous things annoy my parents, like if i havent closed a bottle of coke extra tight i get screamed out like id done something much worse, and i always need to wear sandles in doors and i dont to get salt my dad goes nuts. i always have events with my friends cancelled because i dont speak in the 'right manner' or tone. help
