I have analon and like it because unlike the calpalon I had before the surface coating inside is also on the outside of the pans which makes them easy to clean both inside and outside. I don't recommend circulon because it burns easily at low temperatures especially when used on gas hyper-burners and it is really difficult to get all of the food out of those circles. I also liked the analon because it has a lifetime replacement warranty (you do have to keep the boxes) just in case something does happen, they will send you a new one if you return it to them.

I love love love my Calphalon. Yes it is pricey, but SOO worth it.
If you can't run out and buy a set, just treat yourself to one at a time, they really are worth it.
However make sure you get the non-stick and not the hard anodized as those still have the stick problem.
You must use plastic or wooden utensils with it, so you don't scratch and ruin the finish. I actually don't recommend the Calphalon cooking utensils, though..they are really flimsy and get to bendy when they are hot. But just anything that isn't metal will do.

I have Tramontina stainless steel pots and pans and love them. Most the pans have glass lids and some have vents. They have a website with all their products. The prices are pretty low for the quality you get. They are chefs quality. Buying a TV chefs brand just puts money in their pocket.

K this is hard to believe, but my "Martha Stewart set" under $100 bucks. I've had for several years; yet they have held up like new. (keep in mind I used to go through sets from Macys at a set per six months!) Whatever you get be sure to avoid the cheapo sets. (I've tried them all, I know they're pretty, and tempting, but you live and learn)

God Bless you, and Merry Christmas, or Happy Hanukkah

I have Cuisinart stainless steel with the heavy bottoms. I cook a lot and I like them very much. Good quality for the cost. In my opinion, they should cost a whole lot more.
