Don't get me wrong, I still believe in God and read the Bible and try to follow his commandments. But now, everytime I go to he church, most of the times they are talking about the devil, no to this, no to that... Everything is becoming so extremesit and orthodox... I feel as if I'm being dragged into a sect or cult, where the most important thing is the church or ministry itself... not God... Has someone ever felt the same?

Why do you use the name Jehovah? God never revealed himself as Jehovah, He reveals himself as Yahweh. Yahweh is translated in most bibles as LORD all caps and is used 6828 times in the OT. I understand that in the original Hebrew in its ancient form they didnt have vowels and so in was translated YHWH. Like my name is Daniel it would have been translated DNL. . So words were being pronouced wrong and along come the Masoretes who began adding vowel points at the bottom underneath the constanants so people would know how to pronouce the words. Well they were so hung up about saying Gods name that they put the vowel points for the word Adonai translated "Lord" under Yahweh. So when they translated the OT of the KJV they made up a word. Jehovah. It comes from the hybrid of the constanants for Yahweh with the vowels from Adonai. I guess with all that being said, why do you edit your NWT bibles with a made up word. And why is it wrong for you to use the name God choose to reveal to us?

I have always heard that in order to compete in the Olympics you have to be an "amatuer' athlete, and figure skaters for example, have to keep that status as long as they want to compete. But hockey players on olympic teams are all from the nhl, they are profesionals, so what is the deal?

My mom and I saw a mouse run across the floor a few days ago, so I set out some live traps, and she put posion in the basement.

I caught 3 mice, 2 were healthy and I released them into the woods further away from our house, 1 was either in shock, or ate some posion and It died almost minutes after I let him out of the trap.

I noticed one of the traps had urine on it, and being stupid I forgot to put on gloves before picking the trap up.

I washed my hands, then wiped them with a sanitizing lotion, then mopped the area where the traps were set with bleach, then washed my hands again.

3 days later, my brother had what was either the stomach flu or food poisoning (he threw up once), and today I feel kind of gross.

my mom is fine.

Do I need to worry about going to the doctor because of diseases mice carry, or would you be more inclined to think we have the flu. (its been about 2 days since the first mouse, 1 since the second, and the third was this morning.)

I live across the street from a catholic rectory--or whatever you call that place where the preists live--and in the biog back yard is a 15 foot shrine to Mary complete with a statue of a kneeling worshipper so that she may be worshipped all thimes when nobody else is there--nothing at all for Jesus, no statues, no nothing--this is an expensive peice of architectural artwork, so the chuirch must have gone to great lengths to make it--in other words the Catholic church itself is spending a small fortune making it LOOK like you guys worship Mary--how can you get offended when people get that message?

A friend of mine got me a Playstation 2 for my birthday back in July. It was given to me in an unmarked box and everything and I was told it was refurbished. It works great I have been playing my games on it and everything but when I tried to watch an R rated dvd on it, it said that there were parental controls on it somehow and I couldn't watch it or I had to give some sort of password. I tried to mess with it and type in random numbers but I can't get past it. Is there anyway I could reset this parental control password so I can watch my dvds on it? Please help, thanks!

my husband and i have been together for a total of 6 years and we have a 2 year old daughter. Ever since my daughter was born i have not been in the mood to have sex. Most times i just do it b/c i dont want to lose my huband over it. He is so into making sure that he gets his that he does not even try to please me! i can lay there like a bump on a log and he would not even notice. I have tried to talk to him about it but he does not understand and gets mad. I have tried to explain to him that "baby i want sex" is not actually a turn on and does not make me in the mood...and when your just humping me (for lack of a better word) it does not pleasure me. what should i do? i try to want to be intimate with him but if i am not enjoying it as well then what is the point! and the more he begs or makes comments about sex or oral (which i cant stand!) it turns me more away! i feel repulsed by him at times....help me...what to do?

Kokomo Academy is supposed to be a treatment facility for troubled youth. My son, eleven yrs. old, was sent there but I have no direct information on the history of abuse, neglect, or any other negative issues that have occurred there in the past or present. I read that there have been molestation and beatings reported by an employee of Kokomo who is currently employed there. I need to know that my son is safe and not in harms way. It was also said activity has been done out of the sight of surveilance cameras, reported by the employee.

I just constantly think about sex and I can't sleep right at night because i'm thinking about it. I am starting to worry because it is really getting on my nerves and I don't think propabley at school and for that reason on my exam today I got an F!
