ok ----ive done 10 days warcraft---that was good ----ive tried runescape----that was so-so----are there any free online games adventure type you know rpg's that someone would recomend??

Plus a lot more. These are the games that I've tried out. If you want a game that's similar to World of Warcraft, then you should play Fly for Fun at http://flyff.gpotato.com It's very similar to WoW in graphics and controls. I played it for a while but stopped because my graphics couldn't handle it.
Also, go on Wikipedia and search for Free MMORPGs and also to OnRpg.com and MMOSite.com These list lots of free mmo's.

Adventure quest and dragonfable are good ones. They are both flash-drawn-RPGs that are quite fun and addicting. 2D however.

There is one online RPG that I have tried and is quite fun is Rakion Chaos Force, and that is a MMO that is free to download and play forever, and is in all 3D with some pretty good graphics. Check it out at

A good game you can pay for is FInal Fantasy Online, which is coming out with some new expansions pretty soon.

Guild Wars doesn't require a monthly fee to play, but you do have to buy the game for $30 or so...i used to play alot, but i just did the 10 days of WoW, and I think i'm gonna keep that...

There are LOTS.
Try http://www.onrpg.com or http://www.freemmorpglist.com for massive lists of free online MMORPGs. Many of them are 'Korean' style, with lots of level grinding, but many of them are fun desipte that.
Also try Guild Wars. Its a pay-once system and I like it a lot.

also my little cousin plays maple story which a lot of people are into i personally dont like it but some ppl do
