I am considering moving to Atlanta. I'm a single parent and want to put my child in a good Elementary School. I want to live in a decent neighborhood of mixed cultures, but not too expensive. Also somewhere where the driving wouldnt be more than about 30 minutes to get to work if I worked somewhere in downtown or Midtown Atlanta. I don't mind living in the burbs as long as it is decent, considered fairly safe, close to schools, & shopping and not far from work (again if that ends up being somewhere in atlanta downtown or near there). I've never been to the ATL, so I would appreciate as much information as possible, including childcare references, etc. Recreation and sports activities such as basketball, swimming and other good community center information will also be helpful. If I can get some good information based on good areas to live, I'm sure I can do the research on the rec centers and childcare though.

He took me to Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas for one week for my 55th birthday. I have a card, but I want to put in my own personal note inside. I need help in what words to use. We live in Ohio, so it was a very expensive gift. We even flew first class and stayed at Harrah's, Atlantis, and Bellagio. It was fantastic. He had me make the reservations 5 days before leaving. I was shocked! Please help. Should I do more than a card? Thanks everybody!

Me and some buddies are looking into going to California this summer. I was curious as to where is the best vacation spot? I don't want to go where there would just be teen madness. While planning my trip, the option of staying at a hotel in the park is more expensive but it gives you an hour before everyone gets there and an hour after everyone leaves to go on rides, and there are probably other benefits too. Or I could stay outside of the park for cheaper. If you've been there, is it a lot better to stay inside the park? Benefits? Worth it? Hotel Recommendations?
