October is a really nice time to go, both weather and crowd wise. It is usually not too hot and it doesn't rain quite as much as it can in the summer. The highs are usually in the mid 80s, which is much lower than summer. As you get a little closer to November it tends to cool down somewhat as well.
Crowd wise it is a pretty good time to go as well. Plus, if you are able to go toward the beginning of the month, they usually offer a few days of free dining, if you stay onsite. So if you arrive on one of the days they offer it on the promotion, you can get it for your whole stay. I don't know for certain if they will offer free dining, but that is what they have been doing the past several years.

We have been twice and both times we went was the last week in september first week in october (2 weeks) and the weather was fab really warm, the first time we had a rain shower but it was over in minutes and afterwards you wouldn't even think it was raining, the second time there was a hurricane but like that after a day it was over. For the rest of the time the weather was really warm and humid

I've lived in FL all my life....20 minutes outside of Orlando...and the weather here in October is usually still really hot....mid 80s
There might be OCCASSIONAL days where it gets down into the low 70s at best...but definitely bring lots of shorts and tank tops...plan for warm weather...it really doesnt cool down much here until the end of november or december

October is a little cooler than the summer months usually in the 70's unlike June-Aug when it is almost always over 90. The summer rains usually taper off after the second week of September and don't restart until sometime in March. Orlando is almost always 10 degrees cooler than Miami because it is 300 miles north of there. Also, February and October are the two cheapest months to visit.

perfect! I've been eleven times and went last October and I definately think it was the best time of year to go. It wasn't too hot, just perfect about 75 degrees. Like nice summer hear. Not humid at all and we were there two weeks and had no rain. July/August/September too hot!! and the rest are very humid. October definately perfect, especially as the place isn't nearly as busy as summer months and the ques aren't long at all! Am very jealous, its an amazing place, we are getting married there Oct 09!

It basically rots all year round. Don't forget this is a place lousy with waterways. This means a new and exciting level of mosquito experiences. The place you want to go to has trucks, at night dusting the highways and byways with - why not? Smoke? Does it help? Nooooo! Down in the Keys a colorful and exciting sight is, after sun up, watch old DC 3's about doing the same thing with about as much results. This is only one aspect of the place many flee away from at hyper speed!

Far better than June-Sept,still a minor risk of hurricanes but can't see that happening. It's still warm but not unbearable, humidity levels are ok,lower risk of rain etc...not a bad month (not the best-they're April & November) but far more pleasant than the hell of Summer there!!
