Isn't it supposed to be no taxation without representation? I know dc is not representated and residents are taxed so are the license plates a cry for change?

Hypothetically speaking, let's just say.
I'll be going to a college and pay with student loan.
I'll be working part- time only (I don't know any good stores to apply to yet), I have very little experience though.
I heard 1st year at UT is free but after that u have to pay or look for an apartment.

Which would be best for someone who LOVES nature and spending time outside (hiking, biking) but also likes a variety of restaurants and shopping, even if I have to drive a little ways. JFK airport - waiting for my flight & I'm actually more excited altho I'm going home to an empty house. My cuz is still in SoCal. But I get to see my bf again & that's always good. Back to hot Houston weather...that's the bad part...& back to school tomorrow...yuck!
