It is my frist time going to Disneyland/America, and i am in a budget, so i'd really appreciate recomendations about accomodation. I'd like that I can walk from my hotel to the park. Thank you very much.

Go to the Super 8 on West Katella and tell them that "Barrett Tours" from Canada recomended you to them. I am a bus tour operator that spends thousands of dollars there yearly.
They are about a ten minute walk from Disneyland Maingate, have an outdoor pool and hottub, AMAZING front desk people who can help you plan to go anywhere in the area, and fantastic rates.
Oh ya, they even offer a free continental breakfast until 9am. Its only muffins and donuts, but what the heck.
Its not the ritz, but for the price you pay it is pretty darn good. I can almost guarantee there is not another hotel withen walking distance that can beat thier prices.

The best thing you can do is go onto a travel site like expedia.com and get a travel package with hotel, air, and disneyland tickets all together. It's the best way to get a good deal. Also realize that the nearest airport (SNA = John Wayne Airport) is about 30 minutes away from Disneyland, so you also need to pay for a shuttle to and from the airport to your hotel. Some of the larger hotels will have a free shuttle - ask the hotel! Plan on spending about $40 a day in food and drink, too. Have fun!

All of the Disney resorts are clean and have good rates. The Disney resorts also have buses that run all day to all the Disney parks. We've stayed at them before and the buses running all day was great. You can get some really good deals online. I think the last time we went our room was about $80.00. It might be a little more than some other places, but you don't have to worry at all about getting to and from the parks or parking fees. You can also puchase any kind of ticket you need on-site. OKAY it is hard to pick gifts for people and here you are complaining You need to slap yourself who cares how much money your friend has and how much money he/she spends on you at lease they even thought of you to give you something you should just be thankful and if you dont like keep it anyway just for setimental reasons you never know why someone gives you something or why he/she thought you may need it. Worry about what your going to give your friend

The best thing you can use is www.tripadvisor.com they have HONEST reviews and even pics from people.. I never trust anyones reccomendations unless I can see that LOTS of people on the site have said the same good things..
