Hi, Planning a long weekend in Barcelona in middle of Jan 08. Any good tips on hostels/cheap hotels/good places to eat/unmissable things to do?? I've just got back from Rome but a lot of great things we discovered and good tips were not in any travel guide so best to here from peeps that have been there! Any tips appreciated! Cheers.

I'm going to Spain this upcoming summer! Yes, I know, it's pretty far away still, but I'm very excited and I'm already planning.

What should I wear, do, etc. to not look like a tourist? I want to blend in with their culture as much as I can.

I'm spanish, so Im from europe. Some people told me that I have to say that Im european when I stay in USA, because If I say "im spanish", the most of the people will think that Im from mexico, guatemala, or somewhere like that.
A friend, who speak english very well, told me that the people from Spain( Europe ), is called spaniar.Its true¿

What do you think about the people from Spain(EU)

american people despise the Spanish people¿

I'm borried about that 'cause I dont want to feel the same sperience like south american people who come to spain

for april vacation my high school is going on a trip to greece for 10 days and the cost is about $2400. i REALLY want to go b/c i absolutely LOVE travel, only problem is i have no clue how i'm gonna raise the money. my parents will pay for some of it but i will have to pay the majority myself. but i'm 15 an its hard to get a job until my bday in january. so after i start working i have 3 1/2 months to raise the money. thats not gonna happen so my friend (who also wants to go but needs to fundraise) and i have decided to collaborate to make cash. my question is do any of u have any ideas of what we can do? she knows how to knit an i know how to crochet so we are gonna make scarves and hats w/ our school colors to sell at football games and such, also my church is having a craft fair in november we could sell stuff at. other that that please help! i DESPERATELY wanna go, i just need to figure out how.

My family went to Disney World and it was awesome! but we couldn't even make it to all the parks in 5 days time - our little girl loved Fantasyland. Is it any cheaper to visit Disney Land. i know the flights prices are the same. I have not been to disney land since the new park opened there - how long of a trip does it take?
