Check out the area from Chattanooga to Pigeon Forge Tennessee.Foothills of the Smokey Mountains so this would be a good area.

Try Vermont. There are many historical sights here. There are a lot of nice places to stay and eat. The foliage is beautiful. Check it out and if you want more info let me know.
