I'm going to Spain this upcoming summer! Yes, I know, it's pretty far away still, but I'm very excited and I'm already planning.

What should I wear, do, etc. to not look like a tourist? I want to blend in with their culture as much as I can.

All young people in Europe wear jeans and T-shirts, and when the weather is real warm shorts.
But people in Europe tend to wear shorts less often than the people in the USA.
Funnily enough, it is often better to wear a T-shirt with a big print of an USA town than that it is to wear a local T-shirt.

Put your things for the day in a rather cheap, old day pack, and when you see what style of tote bag the local girls use, buy one like it.
Same goes for shoes, runners or mountain boots are OK for serious traveling and walking, but when you go to the beach, or club at night, you want to wear the same as the other girls.

Have your important things in a money belt under your clothes when you need to wear them, (like passport, tickets, credit card,) and be casual with the rest you carry and wear.
Buy local brands, even the cheapest will make you blend in.

Look at people who stand out as tourist, and do not behave like them. Mostly it is small things like how they carry their camera ready for use, the colours they wear (or combinations of colours) and that they wear clothes the locals would find out of season.
