My family went to Disney World and it was awesome! but we couldn't even make it to all the parks in 5 days time - our little girl loved Fantasyland. Is it any cheaper to visit Disney Land. i know the flights prices are the same. I have not been to disney land since the new park opened there - how long of a trip does it take?
How many days are needed for Disney Land?
What should be done differently for Disney Land than Disney World?

Disney World is amazing, and can take weeks and months to complete until you feel like you "did it all." It is a place to continually explore, enjoy and relax. Walt Disney World Commando Style is almost suicide, though my parents did it with me when I was younger.

I grew up in Southern California, and I must say that Disneyland does have a very special feeling to it. It is a bit more inexpensive because it is different, and there aren't as many parks, but you spend so much time in Disneyland exploring and just really discovering all of hidden gems it is grand to really just take your time.

They are completely different experiences and cannot be interchanged one for the other as simply a west coast or east coast version. I enjoy the differences in pace, feel, and content.

But 3 days is nice but 5 days you can take such a leisurely pace, it is nice to be able to say, "OK... enough for today, we have tomorrow"

Take a park map and cross out each attraction as you experience it, and it Will be fun as you get to lesser known attractions such as "golden dream" and you discover these lesser known gems.

Hope this helped.

Sorry to disagree, but there is NOTHING like the original Disneyland! We were DL regulars until we moved to TN 6 years ago. We tried WDW once and hated it- we'll never go back! It's just not the same. Now, we fly to CA for our Disney fixes! The rides at DL are way better and there's plenty to do! We could easily stay 5 days and go to the park every day- and have! What's wrong with repeating rides? When my grandson was between 3-5 we used to go on the Haunted Mansion over and over and over again! Isn't that the point- it's for the kids isn't it? And California Adventures IS a cool place- so there! We always get terrific deals on rooms outside the park within walking distance. Have fun!

I love both parks but overall Disney World is better. My husband and I took our 3 year old to Disneyland last year and it was fun, but a lot smaller. It only took 2 days to do all the attractions and we bought a 4 day hopper so we repeated a lot of rides. They have a california adventure park next door, but not a whole lot of rides for small children. I am not sure about the price difference in tickets because we bought a package. If you go to Disneyland I wouldnt stay more than 3 days. Its kind of a shock when you have been to Disney World and you go to Disneyland due to the fact that it's so much smaller.

You can do Disneyland in about 3 days depending on crowds, 5 days and you will be able to take your time. Our Fantasyland has much more than WDW's MK and we have Fliks fun fair at California Adventure for the little ones also. There is plenty to keep you and your little girl busy, we have the new nemo sub ride also, our buzz lightyear ride is better as is our Pirates of the Caribbean. theres also a pretty new Monsters inc ride at CA and the Aladdin show at CA is great.

You dont find the deep discounts at DL that you do at WDW, if you can afford to stay at one of the 3 Disney hotels do it, if not there are plenty of places near by called good neighbor hotels that are cheaper. look for a place that has its own shuttle service or is within walking distance but be aware some places say they are close enough to walk but really are not. Look on a map and find where the place is located, the walk in entrance to Disneyland is on Harbor Blvd, address for DL is 1313 W Harbor blvd, Anaheim Ca.

I love both WDW and DL but there is something really special about DL, it was Walt's park and while its smaller in space there is a lot to do and just a magic about the park.

For Disney world you should do one park a day and get there early. It's also good to get a fast pass while your waiting in line for another ride so that when your done waiting in line for that ride it will be time to go on the other ride. Also if you go on rides while others are watching the parade the line are a little shorter.

i think of human beings get perplexed and picture Disneyland is lot of parks. yet there are 2 parks at Disneyland motel and four at Disney international. Magic Kingdom and Disneyland are comparable yet Disneyland is larger and has greater sights. the two are no longer nicely-known for there thrill rides, yet Disneyland does have the subs lower back and California journey has some thrill rides. Disneyworld merely has greater so in my techniques it particularly is larger. I even have been to the two.
