Does town Wallendar exist???It should be in Germany.............?

If it does it is somewhere on the Rhine river in Germany,I saw it in Call of Duty 2,but never heard of it before/after...

Vallendar ( in English texts sometime spelled wrong as Wallendar ) is located just 5 kilometers away from Koblenz, a lively small city at the junction of the Rhine and the Moselle Rivers.

Google maps knows it, so I expect it is a real place, but they spell it with a V rather than a W:
