I want to greet her in an ukranian way but i dont know how or what they do. I just want to know a bit of things they like so i can maybe impress her.

Just ask her, tell her you would like to know more about her country. What it is like to live there, how things are different, what foods she likes. She will respect that you want to learn about her and her country. If you don't want to do that, go to the library, I am sure you could find something on the Internet or in a book. Then you can start talking to her.

I would just go online & look up different sorts of information, starting by going to any major Search Engine & key in; "Ukranian". Other options/things to look up; "Ukranian People" - "Ukranian Language" - "Ukranian Customs". There should be a number of Web-sites come up with many things discussed about her people & their ways, etc.
Be encouraged. . . .I met my Husband overseas (he is from Europe) & we have been married for many years now.

sounds like a good way to get know what a Ukrainian is all about. perhaps if you just express to her your curiosity about her country, that will flatter her and also give you something to talk about. other than that, get a Ukrainian phrase book and learn some simple phrases and try them!
