My friend was bitten by a spider or some sort of insect in Vietnam. He went to the hospital and was treated with anti-venom and the hospital said they treat that type of bite every day. The bite left two fang marks about 5 mm apart. This happened in the dark and he never saw the critter that got him. He slept most of yesterday and is really woozey and uncomfortabl today. I mean falling down woozey. Any similar experiences or info would be appreciated.

We're thinking of moving from Florida to Georgia. Miami cons so far: high cost of living, rundown urban sprawl, bad air quality, bad allergies, bad traffic, aggressive drivers, language barrier (almost everyone speaks Spanish and we don't) , not much to do if you're not into the club scene or high-priced shopping. Miami pros: the beach. Have never lived in Georgia but husband has a job offer there an hour or two from Atlanta.

The 100 Anniversary of the Titanic is set for 2012.
Would you have the nerve to take this very upscale voyage ?
(funny thing Noah's Arc made it, the Titanic did not).

I recently moved to the DC area and am looking for some interesting things to do here. Things that are not the guidebooks or that really capture the Capraesque quality of the city.

Politics.
A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"
Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so lets call me "capitalism". Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so well call her the "Government". Were here to take care of your needs, so well call you the "People". The nanny, well consider her the "Working Class". And your baby brother, well call him the "Future". Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"
So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nannys room. Finding the door locked, he peeps in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed.
