Travel - 20 June 2007

I've been looking into taking a vacation and after seeing Cuba on The Today Show the other week; I decided that I wanna go. I know that it's illegal for Americans to travel there, but I wanna go anyways.

Please give me details on how exactly to get to Cuba from Houston, TX and back home from Cuba and if you have any tips or advice for Americans traveling in Cuba than would help also.

I know that you can get a special license to travel there it they decided to grant it, but I don't wanna bother b/c I don't wanna take a chance of being put on a watch list by the OFAC or worse.

Which is the best island to stay in?? I want to island hop, but don't want to feel rushed -any suggestions? I am wondering what the normal starting salaries are for accounting jobs in the Las Vegas Hotels. There are a lot available according to the hotels career pages, but no salaries are listed. My husband just got a job working right outside New Orleans, but I really don't want to live that close to the area. Anybody have any good locations that would be drivable for him, but still far enough away from the actual city?
