This is an issue where P.C no longer applies.

It is unfortunate that our atheletes will be missing out on such a huge career break. It is sad that we won't get to enjoy the spirit of the games, believe me, I am the Olympics Biggest Fan!

I'm going to be absolutely beside myself not knowing how the games are going, but knowing the true nature of the Olympics, I know this is an opportunity that cannot be missed!

Boycotting the games is probably the most Peaceful way Australia can show the CHinese Government it does not approve of its inhumane standards and lack of animal rights enforcement.

Save the people and animals of China! Take the first step by Boycottingthe Games.

Sadly (though I'm sure some of you won't mind) I'm going to be camping for a week, so that is one less Political Vooice of Freedom being heard, but you too can help the oppressed peoples and animals of the world by joining me, in my founded-just-now organisations

Voice of the Voiceless/ Political Voice for the Politically Voiceless

Including animals, humans etc etc.

We are UN-biased, we help ALL men, including communist officials, we will help them by showing them in as peaceful manner as possible how much we disagree with their values.

PvPv is spread by word-of-mouth. We are un-official. Make it great!
This is it's first endeavour. Boycott the inhumanity.

Any arguments against China for human rights violations or animal cruelty can equally be levelled against the USA. In fact China is less barbaric than the USA in that it doesn't execute children or the mentally ill, the USA does.

Sport and politics have been intertwined for centuries and there have been many sporting boycotts in recent years - the Moscow Olympics in 1980, the Los Angeles games in 1984, the bans on sporting contacts with South Africa during the Apartheid era and now the bans against playing cricket in Zimbabwe.

If you are going to take China to task for animal rights issues, why not have a go at Canada for seal hunting? Japan, Iceland and Norway for whaling? The USA for hunting native animals and animal experimentation? Australia for culling kangaroos and muttonbirding? The list goes on, no country is without its faults.

We can do far better by cleaning up our own act first. If people want to criticise others, they should make sure that they are not doing similar things themselves.

No sports should not be political and China are trying to get out of the dark ages and the more they are included in things like the Olympics the more these will come to an end.
We don't boycott Japan for killing the whales or USA and Britain for having hunting seasons and I don't see the difference.

Hi, NO.
What in the hell has all that rubbish got to do with the Olympic Games?
Australia will anticipate at the Games but we wont be going there to tell them how to run there country.
Same as they come here and dont tell us how to run our country.
I know some country's do or they will go in and start a war.
Has China got oil wells?

No boycotting, but bringing human rights issues into the media. You can't accomplish anything by boycotting, they don't care, more medals for them. By raising the issue, putting it in the media, voicing the opinion, etc you are going to accomplish so much more.

Good question though.
