The bottom of the canyon!! A trip down the Colorado River is breathtaking.

Do what you have to do to get space at Phantom Ranch, then hike to the bottom and hike back a few days later. It's probably getting too hot to do the trip comfortably now. Although you need to reserve months in advance, they often have reservation cancellations at the last minute. An experience of a lifetime!!!

The South Rim is the best place. This is where all the hotels and park buildings are. Also, there are several trails that start at the south rim. It is the main part of the park and would be the best place to stay. Have fun, its a great place

The whalipie- (wall-a-pie) over look, very nice and spacous, and hangs over the canyon
