It goes all over the place. Just about anywhere a person would want to go. I've taken it many times and have never had any problems with it, though I would check out
Amtrak first as sometimes they are cheaper and actually more comfortable. For instance, it cost me $99.00 (train) to go from Seattle to Los Angeles and if I had taken the bus it would've been $150.00.

Greyhound goes in the 48 states. Leaves from downtown Los Angeles, so it will go wherever you are going, except maybe some very small towns. Its coast to coast and north to south.

straight to hell. everytime i've traveled a far distance on a greyhound i've sworn i wouldn't do it again. well, the last time was 2 months ago and i'd rather WALK from la to ny than get on another. the drivers are mean, all the employees unhelpful, they stink, i was robbed and got HEAD LICE! they only stop at wendy's or mcdonalds, the schedules are confusing....etc,etc.....aaarrrrggggghhhhhh
