Well I live in Long Beach overlooking the Queen Mary and they have a wonderful Haunted Tour that is great. You can also stay on the ship as it is a hotel as well and it is fascinating although needing some repair.

I would also recommend the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. It is rumored that Marilyn Monroe haunts there! It is a famous landmark right on Hollywood Blvd.

Here is a link to "Sleeping With Ghosts in Southern California and it lists some other really interesting and haunted hotels.

Another one that I have visited is in San Diego, The Del Coronado. It is also a National landmark and well worth the trip there.

Here is another interesting link that talks about the Del Coronado and the Queen Mary.

It's a little know fact that the Biltmore's second floor is so haunted they will let NO ONE up there and they don't talk about it.

Otherwise, stick with the Queen Mary, The Hotel Del or the Hollywood Roosevelt.

Also the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica is supposedly haunted.

Yep, the Queen Mary in Long Beach has quite a reputation for being haunted. And its a hotel you can stay at. Last year I stayed in Lizzie Bordens house in Massachusetts. What fun night that was. Terrific. Also, in Wilmington area is the Drum Barracks. You can't stay there, its not a hotel, but its been on Unsolved Mysteries. Very haunted. And they give great tours.

In addition to the others, in San Deigo they have the Whaley House. It's listed in the 10 haunted places in the USA.

A friend went on their night tour, and took a bunch of freaky photos.
