My friend wants to throw one but dont know where she can in central park so ppl wont get lost

I think you need to contact the parks department for a permit. May be free or small fee. Start there frist please

wow, sounds like a nice bridal shower!!

Tavern on the Green or the Boathouse.

If you intend on throwing it IN the park, I believe you need to apply and pay for an event permit.
If you are willing to chance it and do it without a permit....try
Cherry Hill, west of Bethesda Fountain or Conservatory Garden, east of the North Meadow. Both beautiful spots. Remember to leave only your footprints please. Clean up!

Depends on how many people you are inviting whether you can get away with it.

Also think about rain concerns. What will you do if you ask 30+ people to join you in the park and arrange their schedules to attend...and then it rains?
