I will be traveling from New York to London on British Airways in the next three week. I would like to know about there in flight service, what type of meals and beverages do they serve. Since it will be a 6-7 hour flight I was wondering if I should buy extra food from the airport. Your comments and any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I just read that Seoul is the third most expensive city in the world. !. Moscow. 2. London 3. Seoul. i live in Seoul and I don't find it should be ranked this high. Besides purchasing a home, I found Canada to be more expensive than Seoul for most things.

I just got a nice job in Arlington VA. I want a one bedroom or a studio in the area possibly on the NW side or the VA side not too far from DC downtown. The place should be accessible by Metro. I have looked around the area but cannot find anything below 700 bucks. Looking to move asap. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm rather confused after reading information from Wikipedia.
The sentence "Taiwan broke off from mainland China in 1949 when the Nationalists under Chiang Kai-shek fled from Mao Zedong's forces and established their government on the island."....did Taiwan gain independence as a country in 1949?

If not, when did it gain independence?

Hope that you folks out there with the knowledge can reply this question. I'm doing a project, and I'm rather rushed.

Thanks!

Some of you Canadians were downright hateful to me yesterday.

Guess what, I am still going hiking in the Yukon whether you like it or not.

I am looking for a ferry for two foot passengers between France (Northern) and Ireland (Southern, if possible). All the ferries seem to cater to people with cars and such, and it is very difficult to find the price for two foot passengers.
Any experience with these ferries, or do you know how much it costs?
We will have the Eurail discount.
