I'm 17 years old and travelling by air to Ohio on Sunday by myself. I've never done this before and am extremely nervous because I'm not sure about how to check in, change flights, get my baggage, etc. It sounds extremely pathetic, I know, but I am very scared that I'll mess up or miss my flight. I would like to take a long exposure night shot when visiting the Hancock observatory, but am not sure the best way to stabilize my camera without the use of a tripod. Is there a ledge or any other camera support for a mini tripod available for those that have been there?

I'm going for a vacation to Vegas July 15-21 and I've heard you can negotiate the price for either an air or bus tour to the grand canyon if you wait until you get there as opposed to trying to reserve on line.
