My worst nightmare is coming true. Brooklyn is becoming a tourist place. I saw it on a sight-seeing pamphlet in Manhattan and I was shocked and disappointed.

Native New Yorkers, how the hell are we going to keep this from happening in the other boroughs ( I feel it will happen)???!!!

sweety, its already too late. Look at Williamsburg (aka trust fund baby land). Look at Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope. Its happening all around us!

sigh, there is no way to stop this i think. its happening in queens too, just check out Long Island City. It seems to me, where ever waterfront exists, it is being marketed to tourists

It's a changing again. Coney Island is being upgraded for those who want ocean view co-ops. Red Hook today has million dollar brownstones. Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights trendy like Green Village was 20 years ago. Williamsburg is the new artist hang out. A pro basketball team will be moving onto Flatbush and Atlantic. Brooklyn will soon be gentrified. NYC is the home to many of the major industries in this country, outside of high technology. Those who are being offered high paying jobs are invading the Big apple like worms.
