I'm going to Bangkok next month for 7 days. I'm also planning to visit some of the surrounding villages. If you can suggest one thing to do every day for a week what would it be. I like seeing strange stuff and is not full of non-sence with food too. I've read that the Grand Palace is great and the there's the Golden Tempel, what else is there that's worth visiting.

My family would like to go to the mountains for a vacation (something very different from our very flat prairie), and we don't know whether to go to the Rockies, the Appalachians, or the Ozarks.

Pros and cons? Weather? Beauty? Activities? What say you? We've read about Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and Durango in the Rockies; Silver Dollar City in the Ozarks; and Dollywood in the Appalachians. Can't seem to find much info beyond that.

(We are not camping; we want cabins or something).

I am going to vegas first time and have following questions:
1) I am staying at Treasure Island Hotel and have meeting at Ceasars Palace. Can anyone tell me the distance and mode of transportation between the 2? Someone told me its walking distance, while some saying that Not a good walk at night.

2) I want to play on 'Slot Machines' but have never used one so far. Can someone tell me if I need to have coins or if I can exchange my dollar bills at the casino and get some tokens etc?

Appreciate sincere advice please.

Rick

I wanna drive to Yellowstone park through south entrance, however, I searched a lot on mapquest and yahoo map, all they showed were driving through north entrance.

I think driving through south entrance is faster when I started from Logan or Salt Lake city, Utah.

Any hotel recommendation for this park. thanks!

Plz help.

It doesn't have to be fancy, or exotic, or impressive. It just has to be a place you like,
such as your home town.

I have noticed that a lot of you are answering trolls and are becoming hot under the collar because of their often stupid and racist questions.
Would it not be better to simply ignore them by not letting them bait you? Be polite their master or masters will soon lose interest and maybe fade away.

I'm planning a trip in 2009 with some friends. I'd like to know if anyone knows how much it would cost to tour both countries.

5 of us total, plus the airfare.

Thanks.

I have a fear of flying and my father just announced that we are flying to Florida to visit some old friends. Ahem, yes, flying. I flew solo once when I was 9, but that was 5 years ago! I am TERRIFIED!!!! I mean, I fear the plane will crash, we become victims of terrorists or.....you get what I mean. Someone PLEASE tell me a way to cope. (PS I heard listening to your iPod on the plane can soothe your nerves, but don't electronics interfere with the equipment?) HELP!!!!
