Florence - is a must for all its art and culture.

Rome - is the capital city and "has the vatican in it" (so to say). In Portugal its said you can not go to Rome and not see the Pope.

Venice - City of lovers and with all the canals and the bridges you sure have to go.

Corleone (Sicily)- can you go to Italy and not visit the small town that got famous in the movie Godfather?

Rome, Venice, Florence and another...maybe Siena or Bologna.

Bit of variety in architecture in all these and all would be considered beautiful!!!
