Wow, that's the first time I see a kind post in here, usually you can find ignorant trolls spewing their hate and envy towards Greece. For this reason, I will give you a star! lol

oh very much more so! In 2001 my Greek son-in-law before my first trip said to me...Go with an open mind, breathe the life of a Greek, and enjoy..gave me no other advice. I did that and fell in love with the whole of it. The city (Athens) waking up, the mtns, the food, the music, the wonderful friends I have made each year (8th trip in 11 days more), the long walks, the busy shopping areas, the young people helping me find my way on the buses, the kisses on the cheeks, the language...do I need to go on? Each year I cry on the way to the airport and then count the days until I can return the next year....part of my heart is always left in Greece.

Oh yes I do! I love Greece because it is a great country. And I love Greeks because they are lovely and warm people.
Indeed, my nationality isn't Greek, I am Peruvian (by the other side of the ocean). But still I've fallen in love with Greece and Greeks, and I think it will go on like that for a long time.

I love Greece and Greeks probably as much as you do. I've been there a few times, the last time for 3 weeks, and have always been given great treatment. We have friends who live just outside Athens and I would love to go back to see them again.

The Greeks are warm, friendly people with a fierce pride in their history and culture. I like that.

As a Turk, I love Greeks and Greece since our cultures are very similar to each other. Yes, we disagree occasionally but I always think we are like two sisters who fight a lot but can't do without....

Personally, I always thought that if I had to choose another country to live other than my own, It would be Greece since during a 10 day business trip to Athens, I felt like I am at home..

Thank you for your support!

I saw you have been to Santorini, I hope you ll have the chance to visit other places too!

Lately we have been under "attack" in Greek section, from people with hostile intentions. This is why some Greeks are skeptical towards you..
Dont get the wrong idea about it!

Regards from Greece!
