We're from a small town in the US and were wondering if we should rent a car in San Juan. We've heard driving is a night mare. Is it true? What are some sights we can visit? I have 3 kids- 6,3 and 2 yrs old. Thanks.

The Irish say Come one, come all to St. Pats days. The Mexican say Come one, Come all to Cinco De Mayo. BUT,
In New York and in and around Puerto Rican communities - Puerto Ricans are getting the word out that white people, black people, Mexican, anyone that is not a truly Puerto Rican or a generation removed - YOU ARE NOT WELCOME at the Puerto Rican Day parade.. I was saddened when I heard this. I like Puerto Rican people, they are fun.. And, as a white New Yorker, I was hoping to go this year and drink a little Bacardi with the Ricans! Looks, like thats another thing white people can't belong too..

I'm shipping stuff back home to MI from my dorm in NYC, and I just gonked a box from Starbuck's. I covered up everything where the shipping information is, and I markered out all the barcodes, but there are still a bunch of logos on the box from Solo and things about cups. Does that need to be covered? I'm probably shipping USPS. Thanks!

I am considering a family vacation to San Diego and wanted to get some advice on the best place to rent a house. It is a big group of all generations so it needs to be close to activities for all ages.

Grandmother
brother in law - no kids
brother in law / wife - 4 year old and 1 year old

wife and kids - 4 year old and 2 year old
There are many sites with houee rentals but I want to search in the best locations.

My boyfriend and I are looking for hotels in Syntagma square. We only need a hotel for about 5 hours until we catch a flight. We were told that it's easy to go from there to the airport for an early AM flight so that's why we want to stay there.

Can anyone suggest a clean & safe budget hotel near there? We are looking to spend about $60.00-$80.00 USD to a maximum of $100 USD.

OK here's what i wanna know:

am i gonna need a passport for St. Thomas? i am going there the last week of june. ive been all over the internet, and i am so unclear.

on one hand, i should get it to be safe cause its out of the country.
on the other hand, St. Thomas IS a US territory, and many websites, including the government travel website, are saying because of that, a passport is not necessary.

I dont mind getting a passport but with 7 weeks left, i dont want to pay for a expedite fee if i dont have to.
