While a friend of mine was practicing in a shooting range in Phuket island,a village man offered him to chase a village girl in the forest and kill it just for practice and pleasure.My friend would give the villager a small amount of money.Has anyone heard a similar story?It is absolutely horrible.

It just don't make sense. Firstly, why would a Thai allow a foreigner to do that to their own people (I know Thais for their disgust in foreigners getting involved with their own people/politics/country/etc.,) and you're telling me that your friend was offered to chase a village girl in the 'forest' and kill just for the practice and pleasure? Its a bunch of bullcrap you'd come across in those Hollywood movies, man. Don't buy that.
Villagers are closely knit. They wouldn't even let you touch their women and your friend is 'offered' to kill them? Yeah right... if a foreigner is in such a savage land, I suppose the FIRST person who is getting shot is not the girl but your friend himself!
I must admit Thailand is quite violent at some point of time, on certain provinces but that story of yours is just too hard to believe and definitely not a reality game show sort of thing! LOL...

HAHAHAHA,That's a good one. Hope you didn't take it seriously.
Even if it was half true, Phuket is not big enough to have a jungle for such hunt going and the sound of gunfire would alert the authority within minutes.
Sound like you ahve never been to Phuket yourself. Go, take a trip to the land of smiles. You will love it. It is very affordable these days with low airfares and great package deals popping up regularly.

Yes, I've read about similar incidents in Scienc-Fiction novels.
The Thai way of life does not promote the killing of anything just for pleasure, so I think it highly unusual that this weird story will be true.

I don't think your story is out of the realm of possibility, there's sick people everywhere, as well as people who will do just about anything for money. Hopefully, the guy was just trying to rip-off your friend, and there wasn't really any girl involved. My question to you is, if this indeed did happen, why didn't your friend call the police or at least inform somebody that could help?
