Sorry but North Central Florida is really not near the Gulf. About 65 miles west of Ocala is Cedar Key. It is right on the Gulf and has a number of waterfront restaurants. There probably are some at Crystal River, but not directly on the Gulf. Other than that you have to go south toward Spring Hill and New Port Richey

Ocala is horse country and a good distance from the Gulf or the Atlantic. There may be good seafood places, but make sure you ask if the Grouper is not imported and in fact is Grouper. There's been a problem with places knowingly and unknowingly subsituting other species for Grouper. Grouper will flake and a filet should be between one and two inches thick and will cost about 8.00 for a sandwich.
