$100 a day is not unreasonable depending on how much gambling you do and whether you are consistently losing or breaking even. $100 is about what I allotted for myself but I ended up doing about 125. I was mostly playing $2 video blackjack (which i did much better on than tables, I think because maybe they are required to pay back a certain percentage of what they take in). My system failed when I accidentally hit bet max and lost all $98 of my profit on one hand and lost because I had a little too much free beer. If you want cheaper tables go downtown. I played $5 blackjack tables downtown and they even had $3 tables. The best part of gambling is drinks are free so it counterbalances with money you would of spent on booze anyway. I was able to pay for breakfast and lunch, as well as $25 buffets some nights. I think $100 a day is fine as long as you don't go on tilt though. Good Luck

How much you spend in vegas is pretty much dependent on where you stay. If you're on the strip and you don't have a car it's not very likely you'll be able to stay within your budget. Mostly because if you want to actually gamble for longer than 5 mins, any casino on the strip will only have tables where the minimum bet on every hand is $15-30, and more if you need to raise or double up.
if you can, get yourself to downtown vegas. the food is cheaper, tables run $5-15 usually and honestly the dealers and people are much more friendly.
you should probably budget around $40 if you want to go to a buffet, which you kinda have to do for the experience and if you're really intent on getting your money's worth, stay for lunch and dinner.
gambling in the morning is always a better bet if you can get up because crowds are less and tables are cheaper. the minimums will go up later in the day, but if you've been sitting at a $10 min table and it goes up to $20 you'll still be able to bet the price it was when you sat down.
slots are pretty much just time wasters if you're looking to gamble it's worth it to learn the rules of a couple table games. pai gow poker's a good game for making your money go a longer amount of time.
another way to think about your money is to separate the gambling money from the eating and drinking money, so for example you set aside $200 for gambling for the whole of your stay that you're willing to lose. that way you keep a sort of running tally of how much you're up and down as opposed to a day to day tally.
also in case you get really lucky LOVE is an awesome show. have fun and good luck!

If you are asking about having fun, $100 a day might not cut it, especially if you are gambling. The free drinks usually come quick if you are at a table game, so you might have to be at a table for a while, most of the time, unless you are getting lucky, $100 dollars can be lost in a half hour at the tables. Otherwise, paying for drinks is pretty expensive, especially all of the specialty drinks that are available at most of the hotels.
You definitely can get by on $100 dollars a day, but I know that it is pretty hard to have fun on that budget. Have a good time though. Good Luck.

usually i would suggest $100 day to live on. eat, drink, enjoy vegas, get into a club at night. budgeted, but definately do-able.
That doesn't include gambling. If you want to gamble, its going to be more. Especially dpeneding on the type of gambling you do. think about how much money you lan to put on each bet or slot pull on average. if you're playing penny slots.. you might get 20 minutes out of $10. $100 gambling on penny slots wont last you but maybe 4 hours unless you win big. and thats penny slots

$100 a day for gambling, eating, and drinking? That's WAY too low. I give myself $100 a day just to gamble with. You can drink for free (aside from a tip) when you gamble, but unless you're going to eat McDonalds' or something like that for all three meals, you're not going to have a lot either way.

that seems to be pretty good, but a little on the low end depending on what type of gambler/eater/drinker you are. I mean, if you're going to play the penny slots, eat fast food, and drink the drinks they serve free at the tables or just soda, then $100 is waaaay plenty. But if you're going for a $50 blackjack table/$30 buffet/and drinks until you're tipsy everyday, then I say maybe $200-$300/day (unless you're really good at blackjack!).
To save money, go with a bunch of people and search for deals online for hotel and flight packages.

The amount of money you allocate per day in Las Vegas depends on how gamble. If you only intend to gamble $20.00 - $50.00 per day, you will be okay on that budget. If you like to drink, you may need to scale back on your food budget to have extra for drinks. Don't forget to add transportation into that daily amount. Cabs run about $8-10. Someone mentioned stick to the slots, slot machines take your money very quickly. You may find yourself exceeding your budget very quickly with slots. My usual daily budget is $200-$300.00 per day on a 5 day stay, but my drinks, food, and hotel are complimentary. Transportation is usally around $75 for my entire stay.

It could be enough but Vegas can be pretty spendy. You will have to limit your gambling and maybe you can order the Daily Specials wherever you eat. I imagine the drinks (alcoholic) are not cheap either.
