I am planning on volunteering abroad in Zambia or Tanzania next winter, and I have been researching different organizations, but they all are basically the same. Has anyone ever done this before? I live near Washington, Louisiana and am willing to travel by car about 350 miles which would put me within the circle of these places:
Victoria, Gonzales/Luling, Austin, Temple, Fort Worth, Texas,
Mead, Oklahoma,
Fort Smith, Arkansas,
Memphis, Tennessee,
Tuscaloosa, Alabama,
Destin, Florida.

Hurry, I must inform my supervisor of dates I will need to take off. My company is going out of business and they want me to take my vacation within February or March.
