you can ALWAYS bring your own food on the plane. . . . as a matter of fact, i've been a flight attendant for 10years now, and it's highly recommended. most airlines make you buy food. . . with the exception of my airline (continental) but we only serve food at meal times, ie. 730-9, 1100-noon, and 430-600. the only thing that you cann not bring thru are any type of liquids or gel-like substances. jello, pudding, etc. good luck, and i hope you have a good flight!

Yes, I always bring food onto the plane. Some I have in my backpack that was purchased before I go through security and some food after security. Heck, I have even carried a pizza on the plane. I think I could have made money on that!

I have but it was before 9/11. You should check with the airline your using and ask their policy. If you have a valid reason for the request and allow them to check out your food, they will probably work with you.

Good luck.

Just thought of something - they may be more concerned with the eating implements you bring on than the food itself!

You can bring your own food but nothing to drink. But drinks you buy after security are permitted on the plane

yeah i think so, as long as it gets inspected at security, i dont see why not. and as long as you aren't eating explosives and knives and things of that sort.
