I'm flying home and am worried about having three pieces of luggage. None of them are over the "Heavy" requirement but I was just wondering about the cost for the third bag. Would it be cheaper to just ship it?

The rates just went up. For an extra piece from the US to Paris it is now $150 if it is under 23kg. If it is over that weight, it's another $50 extra. I did not look up the rates from Europe into the US, but I would guess, with the exchange rate about 135/40 Euros. For the 2 free pieces, the combined weight is 46kg.

Depends on the weight and the airline, some don't really care. I wouldn't ship it.
