I've skied in Canada, France, Italy and Bulgaria as well as Portugal and would recommend the latter. You can ski all day come down the mountain and take a dip in the pool and sun bathe as well. Dual holiday as such.

The U.S. has some outstanding ski resorts, mainly the best of which are in colorado. However, Lake Tahoe in CA /NV is really beautiful. Maybe the indoor man-made ski venue in Japan is more to your interest? Look it up

dont know but it is definately not the Bellahouston dry slope. It is a good slope but I keep falling and breaking fingers there.
My dream skiing destination is Aspen, Colorado. Would love to ski there.

Soldeau in Andorra is good for a sort of average skier . Its not expensive and the hotels are good. The Sierra Nevada in Spain is fun as well - it has a World DownHill slope if you are in to that sort of thing. You ought to try Austria as well- Obertowern (bad spelling) I liked
