I've heard of people jumping (or threating) to jump off the Tyne bridge. How often does it happen (every week, couple of times a year)?

Just out of interest. Just wondering if the bridge would be classed as a "suicide hotspot" or not.

Ive just got back from Newcastle (Im from Chester) and couldent believe how polite and friendly you all are. I suppose its a northern thing. I only had 2 days and didnt go out in the evening. Im planning another trip there as i loved it so much so can anyone reccomend any decent clubs/pubs/bars and any decent places to stay!
